Job Purpose
Resource management is a new operational function at Mazars which is focused on client delivery, risk management and developing our people.
The rolereports into the Resourcing Senior Manager and works closely with senior leaders overseeing c200 resources across the UK in a high growth business.
There is a high degree of change management, process set up and independent working required in the role.Roles & Responsibilities
Resource allocation
- Responsible for allocating resources to client demand
- Understands the skills and experience of staff to enable allocation decisions
- Prioritises resource during peak periods to ensure quality client delivery
- Deals with escalations and conflicting demands, liaising with other members of the Resourcing team as required; and
- Works with senior stakeholders to track pipeline and new wins, focusing on the resource planning & transition requirements.
- Manages utilisation levels and other key performance indicators;
- Provides regular insight to business leaders on upcoming capacity, peaks, and conflicts to enable business decisions; and
- Monitors headcount levels and recruitment needs to ensure we have the resources required.
- Allocates resource portfolios for new joiners, considering their skills and experience;
- Helps to onboard new joiners and provide training on our resource tool and operational excellence expectations.
- Workforce planning / resource deployment experience essential, ideally within a professional services / consulting environment;
- Audit knowledge advantageous;
- Strong business partnering and communication skills;
- Problem solver who is creative and resilient.
