Leicestershire County Care Ltd has been successfully running Residential Care Homes within the Midlands area for over 10 years.

The foundation of this company is built on providing a safe and homely atmosphere where residents have the ability to live their lives in a nourishing and supportive environment which promotes their independence.

We are currently seeking a Gardener to work at all 13 of our sites within the Leicestershire area.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include, but not limited to;

All shrubs/hedges/fence plants pruned and maintained neatly.
Seasonal planting (winter/summer plants, replacements).
Trees pruned and maintained. Cut back any over hanging trees.
Weeds cleared throughout the property including pathways, borders, and beds.
Maintenance of the plants i.e. pest control and fertilising.
Preparing and maintained vegetable patches including planting of choice.
Grass to be mowed in straight lines to ensure grass is cut with a neat and tidy appearance. All cuttings removed.
Lawns maintained moss, weed free, fertilising and grass seeding.
Removal of dead and planting of new trees and shrubs.
During the autumn/winter months ensure that all leaves are collected and disposed of.
Litter pick whole area outside of the property and dispose of the rubbish.
External bin stores to be swept and left weed free.
During slack periods of gardening work, be able to assist and support the homes maintenance.
Ability to communicate and manage interpersonal relationships
A friendly and cheerful disposition
Team player, decisive, selfmotivated, proactive, flexible and adaptable individual.
Excellent customer service skills and a desire to deliver good service to our elderly residents during their meal times.
