Primary Teaching Assistant - September 2024 Start:

Protocol Education are currently working with several schools in the London Borough of Hackney who are looking to recruit Primary TA's to join them in September 2024.

These roles are full-time and will run for the full academic year.


Protocol Education work closely alongside TA's to understand their individual requirements in order to find you the perfect school in Hackney.


Our partner schools are looking for motivated, passionate and reliable TA's who are willing to go above and beyond to support children in their care.


As part of your role, you will be working with children with SEND including ASD, ADHD, MLD and physical disabilities.

Experience in this area would be highly beneficial.


We are open to hearing from people with relevant experience in other fields who are looking to make the transisition to working in schools.


Location:

England, Greater London, Hackney


Salary:

£90 - £100 Per day


Job Duties:


  • Supporting primary school teachers in delivering lessons
  • Assisting with classroom management and student supervision
  • Providing oneonone support to students who require additional help
  • Preparing materials and resources for lessons
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback to teachers

Required Qualifications:


  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Education:

GCSEs in English and Maths as minimum

Degree in related field highly beneficial


Knowledge and Skills:


  • Understanding of primary education curriculum
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Basic IT skills

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
