Private Banking assistant:

We are looking for a Private Banking Assistant within our Isle of Man office.

The role holder is responsible for supporting the Private Banking team in managing the requirements of existing and potential clients of Nedbank Private Wealth, ensuring the highest standards of service are maintained at all times.


Role Specific Details

  • Assist in proactive development of existing client relationships.
  • Undertake clientrelated initiatives and projects as and when required.
  • Monitor upcoming client reviews and circulate to the Private Bankers to ensure annual investment reviews and lending renewals are completed on time.
  • Within the closely regulated regime prepare investment proposals and all supporting documentation for existing and potential clients when requested to do so by Private Bankers.
  • Collect all relevant supporting information and documentation and prepare credit proposals for existing and potential clients when requested to do so by Private Bankers. Assist with management of any risks that the Bank faces as a result of providing finance.
  • Assist with onboarding clients introduced by IOM based Private Bankers.
  • Support Isle of Man based Private Bankers by preparing paperwork, contacting clients and joining meetings where appropriate to complete client reviews.

Professional Qualifications
None required but an interest to working towards the following would be preferred.

  • Investment qualification: Attained or working towards Level 6. Must be appropriate and meet current regulatory standards.
  • Lending qualification: Attained or working towards CeMAP
