Description

Our client, one of the most well-established global investment banks based in the city, are looking for an experienced Float Team Assistant.

This is a long term on going temporary opportunity.


The main purpose of the Float Team Assistant is to work alongside the Assistants in the Global Markets Division to ensure cover of all teams through all contingencies.

You will be responsible for stepping into teams and hitting the ground running to ensure seamless support across the board.

What you'll do

  • Diary and calendar management
  • Coordinating and scheduling of meetings and conference calls across multiple time zones
  • Coordinating room bookings for internal/external meetings and VCs across multiple locations
  • Expense management and preparation
  • Taking on ad hoc tasks while maintaining workflow
  • Supporting teams in day to day issues, needs and queries
  • Providing phone / holiday coverage for colleagues
Who you are

  • Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills
  • Able to prioritize a variety of timesensitive tasks
  • Demonstrate dependability and high attention to detail along with the ability to multitask
  • Comfortable working with people at all organisational levels, internally and externally
  • Must be a team player that works well under pressure within a changing environment
  • Flexible and adaptable to work and support across multiple teams
  • Be resourceful and able to use own initiative in solving issues
  • Proactive attitude when managing diaries
  • Discretion to deal with confidential business matters
  • Friendly and approachable with can do, muck in attitude.
