An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Trusts IT Clinical Systems Team on a fixed term basis for 18 months.

This role is to provide administrative support to the organisations IT Clinical Systems Team


To provide an efficient comprehensive administrative service to the IT Clinical Systems team and also wider elements of the Digital Services as required.

The post holder will be expected to work with the minimum of supervision and carry out the duties in such a way as to make a direct and positive contribution.

MAIN DUTIES

  • The ability to produce a variety of complex and specialist documents. Prioritising work and ensuring adherence to appropriate deadlines.
  • Provide first point of contact for the IT Clinical Systems Team i.e. receiving visitors and incoming telephone calls.
  • Management of the Trusts IT Clinical Systems Team SharePoint site.
  • Manage electronic diaries for members of the IT Clinical Systems Team ensuring travel time and room bookings.
  • Pick up basic IT Clinical System Tasks and maintenance actions under supervision or under guidance from established SOP's
  • Participate in IT Clinical System Testing activities to support the user acceptance process following established testing scripts.
  • Support the provision of first line support by the IT Services department as required.
  • Create and maintain standard documents, SOP's and basic Training Guides as required
  • Joint working with the IT Clinical Systems Team to ensure that cross cover can be provided.
  • Participate in the general work of IT Services i.e. ordering of stationery, complaints monitoring and attending staff meetings as and when required.
  • Service meetings, including arranging venues and equipment; attending meetings; taking and producing minutes; typing agendas and supporting documentation.
  • Responsible for ensuring actions from meetings have been captured.
  • Contribute to the effective and efficient running of the department by covering for colleagues as appropriate.
  • Any other duties as required and specific to the role.
