Location:
Private Care at Guys Hospital, London, part of HCA Healthcare UK, private patients facility.


Contract Type:
Permanent


Contract Hours: 37.5 Full time position; shifts patters vary on a rota, and will include a combination of early and latest ( (08h00-16h00) and Late (13h00-21h00)). When there is Saturday work, out of hours payments will be remunerated. (Shifts do not include Sundays)


Starting Salary:
£21,548 - £23,000 Depending on the Experience, plus 25 days holiday and bank holidays.

About the Role


We have an exciting opportunity for a
Theatre Porter to join our exclusive private patient facility Private Care at Guys Hospital.


This is a truly valuable role assisting in the care of our private patients that are having theatre treatments and surgeries.


In this role, you will have many varying responsibilities including: Transferring patients between private rooms and theatres, ensuring the safe movement of medical equipment, medical waste and other items associated to providing a clean, well resourced and safe environment.

Skills Needed

  • Experience in providing excellent customer service
  • Experience of working in a care or hospital environment
  • Flexibility to be able to work shifts, which will on occasions include some Saturdays
  • Able to communicate well with patients, colleagues and be a truly team player
