A new opportunity exists to join one of the most recognised, global, Private Equity firms. Based in central London, you will be taking ownership of all matter relating to carried interest within the firm.

This is a great opportunity to move into a PE housefrom a fund administrator or indeed to specialise in this field from your current role in Private Equity.

The Role:


  • Assisting the investor services team with carried interest distributions. This involves calculating distribution amounts, coordination and preparation of carried interest distribution files.
  • Preparing all calculations, documentation and accounting journals required for any new awards, transfers of existing holdings or vesting reductions, as well as ensuring that the information is inputted in Investran accurately.
  • Keep carried interest models, policies, guidance and documentation updated.
  • Acting as a focal point within the firm for questions regarding carried interest. Communicating to carry holders clearly and addressing their questions or concerns that arise.
  • Assisting Group COO and HR with the rollout of carried interest and coinvestment in a new fund.
  • Assisting the investor services team with the reconciliation and review of quarterly carried interest statements to carry holders.
  • Adhoc requests/reporting for partners and senior employees.

Requirements:


  • You are likely to be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Good understanding of either carried interest arrangements, employee share incentive plans or other similar employment related securities
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be a confident and diplomatic communicator
