Are you passionate about supporting the educational journey of children with special educational needs (SEN) AK TEACHING, a reputable education agency, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as SEN Behaviour Support Assistant in South Yorkshire.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide oneonone or small group support to students with SEN, assisting them in accessing the curriculum and achieving their educational goals.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to implement individualized learning plans and strategies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.
  • Assist with the personal care and hygiene needs of students, as required.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.

Requirements:


  • Full driving licence is desirable but not essential.
  • Prior experience working in a schoolbased setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work with students across a range of ages and abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
