A new year and a new People Services Team

Our vision is to become a leading People Service in NHS Wales.

Therefore, we are expanding our services and are recruiting to vacancies across a range of professional backgrounds, such as Employee Relations, Recruitment and Resourcing and Organisational Design.

We have Resourcing teams in each of our IHC teams. Reporting into each Associate Director of People Service, the Resourcing team provides Recruitment, Temporary staffing and Rostering support.


Our Resourcing teams will work closely with recruiting managers across the Health Board and also our NHS Wales Shared Service Partnership who provides transactional recruitment and payroll support.


  • Responsible for supporting and monitoring the work of the Recruitment Officers, and Administrators to ensure the workload is of high quality and carried out to a high standard in accordance with Health Board policies and procedures.
  • Ensure recruitment activity, including employment checks, are carried out in a timely manner, meeting internal quality standards and KPIs, relevant national frameworks and legal requirements.
  • Responsible for the timely, effective and accurate production and processing of recruitment paperwork by the recruitment team

To include:
offer letters, contracts, payroll information and all other relevant and associated paperwork.

  • Proactively managing the performance of team members: setting individual objectives, maintaining open communications and identifying areas for team and personal development, via weekly supervision and annual appraisal.
  • Planning and facilitating local induction of new recruitment team members and ensuring training needs are met.
  • To provide day to day support of the recruitment administration team, including the organisation of annual leave and the accurate recording and management of sickness absence


Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) is the largest health organisation in Wales, with a budget of £1.7 billion and a workforce of over 19,000 staff.
