Akton recruitment has an exciting opportunity for Residential Lead to join the team at the Staffordshire County council.

Job Role - Residential Lead

We're looking for a passionate and committed leader who can drive our children's residential service forward.

Based in Staffordshire you can work from any of the residential locations (Stafford, Cannock, Burton, Tamworth) or the main office in Stafford and generally we work flexibly and to a hybrid model so you can tailor your calendar to suit your needs as well as those of the business, working from home when you need to.

There's admin support for you in our Burton Resource Centre The Hawthorns.

In this role as the Interim Residential Lead you'll drive the service forwards by developing innovative approaches to practice in collaboration with internal and external partners and by providing short break packages to stabilise life at home or in residential placements.

All with an aim to secure the right outcome for our young people, whether that's to return home or move to alternative living arrangements where going home is not an option.

This means taking a therapeutic approach to our residential offer, so that we have clinicians providing a range of innovative services which strive to be:

psychologically informed, attachment and trauma responsive,
