Since the first branch of General Traffic opened in 1983, our family business has grown to be one of the largest distributors of Vehicle Parts and Tyres in the North and Midlands.


We are recruiting for a casual (zero hours) delivery driver to work from our Manchester branch in Gorton to deliver our car parts to local garages and, from time to time, help in our warehouse.

Our casual staff work on an ad-hoc basis covering holidays and peak periods in the business.


Each week they will be offered different day's to cover the full-time staff holidays and to shore up staff levels in the warehouse department and in our delivery vans.

Casual staff are free to accept or decline the shifts offered. Most of the shifts offered will be Monday to Friday but some Saturday mornings will also be available.

This is a permanent, casual position with no defined hours. Zero hours, ad-hoc contract.

The volume of work available will vary week by week.

£10.42 per hour
