Oaklands is an outstanding special school serving the London Borough of Hounslow that provides specialist education to students with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties and autism.

We have a Primary school (New Oaks) and a Secondary school (High Oaks).

We are based across two different sites with both our school buildings offering state of the art facilities for our students.


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic learning support assistants to join our Secondary school, working with students that have PMLD, autism, and complex needs.

As well as being calm and patient, you will need good team working skills and be passionate about supporting students with special educational needs.

Applicants must be physically fit and willing to undertake all aspects of personal care including toileting and feeding.

Hours of work: 8.45am to 3.30pm (Monday to Friday)

Staff will be required to work with a curriculum team until 4.30pm on Mondays.
