So. What is this role exactly?


This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified, experienced marketeer to join our fast-paced Communications, Engagement & Marketing department as Marketing & Brand Coordinator, here at YHG.


This is a great time to join the team as 2024 will see us launch several new affordable housing developments across the North West and the Midlands and roll out a refreshed brand across the organisation.

In addition to these exciting projects, you will also be involved in planning events, booking in photography and assisting colleagues across the organisation with marketing projects.

We are looking for a highly motivated marketeer who has a real passion for what they do.

They must have fantastic attention to detail, maintain a high standard of quality in their work, be creative in their copywriting and enjoy working on their own as well as within a supportive team.


What will my working week look like?
Your working week here at YHG will be very varied.

One week you could be creating content for social media adverts, updating property portals, and analysing sales leads data and the next week you could be out on site photographing the build progress or creating a Matterport 3D tour of our latest show home.


You will be homebased, living within the North West, within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Warrington, to attend meetings and training courses when needed.

Realistically, you will be required to visit our Head Office approximately 1-2 times a week for team meetings and working with your colleagues.


What will I be responsible for doing?


First and foremost, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of impactful marketing campaigns targeting our existing residents, alongside supporting our Development team and Marketing & Brand Manager, in all lead-generation marketing activity aligned to our new build development programmes.


As our brand steward, you will also support the wider team in ensuring all communications, engagement and marketing activity is aligned to our two brands.


One of the great things about this role is the variety of the work, no two days are the same in the marketing team Working alongside the Marketing & Brand Manager and other team members you will support with the delivery of all marketing activity for the Group, particularly concentrating on our Landlord and Growth strategic priorities.

To be a successful as a Marketing & Brand Coordinator
, here at YHG, you will have:

  • Knowledge and experience of executing impactful and measurable marketing campaigns
- experience of on and offline marketing and promotional assets
- experience of the full marketing mix - on and offline

  • Full UK driving licence and use of a vehicle
  • Experience within a marketing department
  • Relevant diploma or equivalent
  • Experience of copywriting and proof reading

Ideally you will be and have:

  • collaborative team player
- able to juggle multiple projects
- excellent attention to detail
- experience in the development and creation of on and offline assets, including print, social media, websites, PR, signage and event management


This role is really suited to someone who likes to be creative and get involved with making suggestions and ideas to improve our marketing campaigns.
