Pure are thrilled to be supporting a fantastic growing business in Basildon to recruit a HR Manager on a 12-month FTC to cover maternity leave, this organisation have been going from strength to strength for the last 10 years and have consistently grownyear on year, so there is a real opportunity here to embed yourself and become a permanent member of staff.
The business are working on several exciting projects which you will have the opportunity to be a part of.Key projects include:
- The project management of outsourcing key areas of payroll to an already selected global provider
- Support the ongoing project of the implementation of a new appraisal and goal setting process
- Manage the service delivery of the operational HR team through leading weekly priority team meetings, 121s and the use of effective team KPIs
- Strengthening knowledge of international employment law and best practices through the use of external sources
- The delivery of our employee engagement agenda
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Payroll and operational activity
- Ensure department KPIs are tracked to reach the overall SLA between HR and the business for all operational day to day objectives
- Organisational design
- The effective implementation of all agreed development made to business structures
- Performance Management develop and implement robust and effective performance management programmes that support the delivery of business results across the business
- Employee Satisfaction & Engagement
- Develop and implement commercially focused strategies and initiatives that drive employee satisfaction and engagement
- Behaviours and Culture
- Champion behaviours to develop a highperformance culture
- Reward
- Support the development of competitive reward & benefit structures that help to drive business performance
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience line managing a team, either as a HRBP or a HR Manager from a fast paced, commercial setting
- A CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualification
- A good understanding of UK employment law and best practice
- Strong coaching skills, you will be seen as a mentor within the function
