Principal Civil Engineer:

Salary:
£45,000 - £50,000


We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity, to work for a multi-disciplinary Consultancy who take up a wide range of projects all across the UK.


Our client is a well-established firm with over 30 years of experience in the field of Transport Planning, Infrastructure design, Highways and Drainage Design.

They work across most sectors - residential, commercial, retail, energy, healthcare and educationand public sector. They offer steady workflow, progression opportunities, competitive salary and benefits with frequent reviews.


As a Principal Civil Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Managing projects, budgets and deadlines
  • Assisting junior staff and correcting their designs
  • Communicating with suppliers, clients, contractors, directors and authorities
  • Negotiation of technical approvals
  • Liaising with wider team to ensure coordination of the designs,

Key skills for this Principal Civil Engineer role:

  • Expert infrastructure design knowledge
  • Experience in areas of drainage design, highways design
  • Detailed knowledge of Section 38, 278, 184, 185, 104, 10
  • Ability to use professional software (AutoCAD, Civils3D, PDS, Microdrainage)
  • Excellent communication skills
