Job overview

This exciting role and service is committed to the advancement of Endoscopic procedures and to the development of staff. Endoscopy services operate across the whole of NUH, at City Hospital Campus, Queens Medical Centre Campus and Nottingham Treatment Centre.

Main duties of the job

This fast paced and high patient turn over area requires passionate and forward thinking staff.

You must be committed to high standards of patient care and will need to demonstrate the ability to work as a team member as well as under your own initiative.

Having excellent communication skills, along with the ability to think independently and prioritise tasks is a must. You will be providing specialist skills, supporting the clinical teams with a wide variety of endoscopic procedures.

Training & Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • GCSE English and maths grades A to D or equivalent
Desirable criteria

  • NVQ / QCF 2 in Healthcare or equivalent
Experience

Essential criteria

  • Previous experience in dealing with customers, patients or clients.
Desirable criteria

  • Previous experience working in the healthcare setting.
Communication and relationship skills

  • Demonstration of team working and ability to work within a team
Physical skills & requirements specific to the role

  • Ability to participate in the out of ours on call service.

Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.

NUH will scan your ID and right to work documentation in to the Trust ID system at your face to face ID appointment.

The system will run a check against the key security features within your documentation.

The system will provide us with an outcome of your check which will be stored securely on your personal file along with all other pre-employment check documentation.
