Endoscopy services operate across the whole of NUH, at City Hospital Campus, Queens Medical Centre Campus and Nottingham Treatment Centre.

Main duties of the job

This fast paced and high patient turn over area requires passionate and forward thinking staff.

You must be committed to high standards of patient care and will need to demonstrate the ability to work as a team member as well as under your own initiative.

Having excellent communication skills, along with the ability to think independently and prioritise tasks is a must. You will be providing specialist skills, supporting the clinical teams with a wide variety of endoscopic procedures.

Training & Qualifications

Essential criteria

GCSE English and maths grades A to D or equivalent

Desirable criteria

NVQ / QCF 2 in Healthcare or equivalent

Experience

Essential criteria

Previous experience in dealing with customers, patients or clients.

Desirable criteria

Previous experience working in the healthcare setting.

Communication and relationship skills

Essential criteria

Demonstration of team working and ability to work within a team

Physical skills & requirements specific to the role

Essential criteria

Ability to participate in the out of ours on call service.
Ability to work weekends and evenings.

Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
