In Autumn 2024, YMCA Northamptonshire will be re-starting charitable services with the launch of a new supported housing project specifically for young people leaving care.

We will provide a welcoming and safe place for young people to live as well as a range of support services to help them into employment and move towards an independent future.

We are looking for someone who understands the needs of our young people and who is passionate about providing effective and engaging services that support the emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing of YMCA Northamptonshire residents residing in our supported accommodation.

The role focus is on promoting wellbeing, building confidence, developing independent living skills and preparing and supporting residents to move into employment and onto a future beyond the YMCA.

The support we provide is asset-based, trauma informed and person-centred and the post holder will need to understand and work within these frameworks.

The role is 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Expected start date of the role is 1st July 2024.
