As the Training Lead for Support Services, you will have a key role in transforming our way of working for the future by designing, developing, and implementing the key framework for Training and Competency across the Support Services division.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is looking to get involved in transformation and project work, whilst helping our operational teams innovate and adapt their training styles and methods.

This is a fixed term post available up to December 2024.


You will work collaboratively alongside the management teams for CSR (St Thomas' Hospital & King's College Hospital) and Learning & Development teams to design, develop and deliver a suite of training materials including digital solutions therefore previous experience is essential for this role.

You will have a suite of learning opportunities available through The Synnovis Way Development Programme.


The Support Services team are expected to communicate to colleagues regularly and effectively within the department and various other Synnovis colleagues across Services, Analytics & Group.

This role requires direct communications across Learning & Development (Group) and Support Services (Analytics).

You will ensure that effective training processes are communicated, developed, improved, and maintained to meet the requirements of the Support Services & Logistics Target Operating Model, within transformation, working closely under the management of the L&D Manager and transformation Lead.


A key transformation objective will be to develop and implement an effective e-learning platform for training and competency assessment across Support Services, in line with UKAS accreditation.

Responsibilities:


  • Ensure that effective training processes are developed, improved, and maintained to meet the requirements of the Support Services & Logistics Target Operating Model, within transformation.
  • Develop and implement an effective an E-Learning platform for training and competency assessment across Support Services ensuring that managers and employees across the division are provided with a timely and highquality L&D framework, in line with UKAS accreditation.
  • Act as first reference point of contact for all L&D enquiries relating to the Support Services & Logistics transformation timelines.
  • Develop, lead, and implement an E-Learning platform for training and competency assessment across Support Services.
  • Undertake the preparation and circulation of course materials and collateral for related training courses.
  • Manage the compliance requirements for Synnovis statutory/mandatory training relating to the Support Services & Logistics.
  • Assist in the coordination of the evaluation process and collate feedback reports from the LMS.
  • Design, Develop and deliver a successful L&D framework using LMS as part of the transformation plan.
  • Develop the framework for annual and half yearly employee appraisal process across Support Services.
  • Update and maintain L&D ViaNet pages to support changes as part of transformation within Support Services.
  • Work with the L&D Co-Ordinator to support a pathway within Support Services under the Apprentice Programme.
  • Codeliver/develop ITC training courses.
  • Support L&D communication channels specifically related to transformation across Support Services.
  • Regular attendance and progress updates at Support Services transformation meetings.
  • Present and effectively communicate innovative changes within the L&D framework.
  • To ensure that correct L&D records are maintained.
  • Contribute to the central HR team, its objectives and strategy.
  • Travel to different sites as required (Guy's, St Thomas', King's, and Princess Royal)
