An opportunity to work outside ( in all weathers) improving the community and making a positive difference to our environment.

Our client is looking for a new team member to join the Environmental Services team:

Various tasks for street cleansing including litter picking, emptying litter bins, training and experience required as well as complying with Health and Safety regulations in accordance with the role.

Must be able to work to deadlines.

Working outdoors in all weather conditions.

The job is physically demanding.

Working on occasions, alone and on occasions as part of a team.

Must be flexible as weekend/backshift work may be included in the assignment. 3

37 hours per week over a 7-day period, shift times to be confirmed.

Full clean driving licence required.


Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 4 months


Salary:
£11.18 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sunderland: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • Manual Handling (preferred)
