The Wimborne & Ferndown Community Nursing Team would like to welcome a Registered Nursing Associate to join our supportive team.
Working with people in their own homes is a privileged position - we continually invest in growing and developing our staff to ensure the very best care to people accessing our services is achieved.
We understand that the transition from Trainee to Registered Nursing Associate can be both exciting and anxiety provoking at the same time.
As a RNA you will be allocated a named preceptor in the clinical team who will support you whilst you find your feet and help you to identify areas of your practice you wish to develop.
Alongside this, you will join our Trust's brilliant multi-professional preceptorship programme to explore many different areas of health care in a supportive, reflective environment.

They will deliver planned care to a group of patients working within the standards of proficiency outlined by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and in accordance with Trust policies and protocolsDemonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide
support/guidance to less experienced staff/learners within the clinical environment as needed
Manage a defined group of patients/service users under the indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, using evidence based/client centred principles to undertake a range of delegated tasks independently
Contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient/service user care
Take responsibility for planned/defined tasks as required
Plan and undertake clinical tasks guided by standard operating procedures and protocols
Delegate work to support worker staff and learners, as required
Supervise and line manage band 2/3 staff and undertake the ongoing supervision of the routine work of others
Take responsibility for the training of others and may be required to deliver training
