£22,000 - £24,000 | Permanent Appointment

Are you an experienced Payroll Professional seeking a new role in the Inverness area?


Nicholas Hendry is currently recruiting for a brand-new role, with a leading Inverness based business that is currently looking to add to their growing team.

Our client is a well respected local Inverness based employer that has recently embarked upon anexciting period of expansion, modernisation and growth within their market.


Working closely with the leadership team of the business, you will be the main point of contact for all matters payroll, covering weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll processes.

Liaising directly with a diverse range of stakeholders.


To be successful in this post, you'll need to have previous experience in similar roles, specifically where you have been responsible for not just Payroll processing, but also payroll reporting, year-end submissions and be comfortable supporting non-financestakeholders with any payroll related queries.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Processing of both weekly and monthly payrolls.
  • Ensure payroll compliance, issuing AE letters for pension scheme, P45's
  • Maintain company pension portal, new starts, leavers and upload contributions
  • Payroll reporting
  • Liaising with external stakeholders such as HMRC etc.
  • Identify and help implement process improvements
  • Support finance team with ad hoc activities and projects
  • Liaise with finance and operational teams as required
