Job description

The Caldicot Group is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated commercial fitter to join our team, responsible for maintaining our diverse fleet.

The role encompasses a variety of tasks, including fleet maintenance, 6-weekly checks, servicing, pre-MOTs, and on-site work utilising company-provided vans.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 08:00 a.m. to 16:00 p.m. + additional overtime when required

Responsibilities:

Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on a diverse fleet of vehicles.
Conduct thorough inspections.
Ensure the timely completion of all required paperwork, including job cards and service sheets, utilising online systems.
Diagnose and rectify faults.
Adhere to safety regulations and comply with health and safety legislation and company procedures consistently.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, the workforce, and clients.
Strong organisational and timemanagement skills.

Salary:
From £20.00 per hour
