School Administrator HR
Rotherham
Full-time temporary contract
£10.50 per hour
(22.20 hours)

Key Duties/Areas of Responsibility

  • Deal with complex customer queries
  • Produce and use complex electronic documents
  • Assist in researching and contribute to the preparation of management information report
  • Support the planning of projects and programmes and produce appropriate material to help keep track of progress and identify the need for remedial action at the earliest opportunity
  • Provide help and assistance to staff in the use of IT packages/systems
  • Set up and produce non-standard letters/templates/spreadsheets/documentation, update and maintain databases and produce management information
  • Ensure that the section complies with administrative procedures relating to Policies, Standing Orders, Financial Regulations by providing advice and/or administrative support
  • Handle and reconcile cash and be accountable for procurement and small expenditures from an agreed budget
  • Arrange and attend events and meetings, produce agendas and take minutes
  • Supervise and allocate work to more junior staff
  • Key Areas of Knowledge and Experience
  • Working in an administrative role, including dealing with customers and using a range of office equipment
  • Setting up and maintaining filing and storage systems
  • Analysing and recording statistical information
  • Practical knowledge of financial procedures e.g. procurement/budget monitoring
  • Creating and implementing new working methods & systems
  • Arranging events e.g. meetings, producing agendas and taking minutes
  • Experience of supervising and allocating work to others, including the identification and feedback of development needs
  • Carrying out research projects and analysing data
