Senior Buyer to take the helm in their procurement operations both at the head office and offshore sites.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Buyer, you will steer the course of purchasing excellence across a spectrum of products, from electrical and electronic items to critical raw materials such as steel, aluminum, and high-value one-off purchases.

With a competitive salary ranging from
£28,000 to £36,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience, you will be instrumental in maintaining the quality, cost-efficiency, and timeliness of procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Navigate purchasing operations for both head office and offshore projects.
Strike a balance between lead times, costs, and quality, tailoring strategies to each unique project.
Showcase a proven track record of crossdisciplinary buying across various sectors.
Showcase meticulous attention to detail in reading technical drawings.
Collaborate seamlessly within a team and adapt flexibly to changing project requirements.
Employ strong negotiation skills to secure the best deals for the company.
Leverage your experience with MRP systems to optimize procurement processes.

Qualifications:

Previous buying experience in a manufacturing or engineering context is preferred.
Exceptional negotiation skills that have delivered quantifiable results.
Familiarity with MRP systems to streamline procurement workflows.
Detailoriented mindset with the ability to interpret technical drawings.
Stellar communication skills to facilitate collaboration across teams.
