Description

The post holder will work as part of the Patient Escort team providing a 24 hour, 7 days per week efficient and effective patient movement/transportation service to the Trust and will combine both supervisory and patient escort duties.

The post holder will assist the management team in ensuring the service runs smoothly and effectively on a daily basis with responsibility for contributing to providing a high quality and responsive Patient Escort service to the Trust and its patients ensuring that patients retain their dignity, privacy and individuality at all times whilst maintaining patient and staff confidentiality.

The post holder will play a key role in the leadership of the Patient Escort staff, delegating where necessary and ensuring appropriate allocation and monitoring of workload.

To adopt a caring and friendly manner at all times.

Working 37.5 hours per week covering a 24 hour period on a rota basis which will include weekends and bank holidays.
