Description

Butler Rose is working with our well-establish, Exeter based client on their 12 month fixed term contract role. The role is office based and is as a part of a fast-paced, project team.

It will involve calculating and populating detailed financial and non-financialdata for historic, current and future Company performance as defined by the Regulator.

What you'll be doing:

Calculating and populating financial and nonfinancial data into defined tables for review by management
Forecasting financial information based on assumptions, e.g. household growth, inflation
Performing analytical review on data to explain changes and trends over time
Preparing written methodologies explaining in detail how data has been calculated
Maintaining records of data completion to track and report on progress
Interrogating financial information to identify historic financial performance
Liaising with financial modelling team on required data
Liaising with business as usual finance team regarding financial information.

What we are looking for:

Good level of education (including GCSE Maths & English at Grade C or above) or equivalent
AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and previous experience in a finance role
Technically sound knowledge of Management Accounting (accruals/prepayments/journal processing)
Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, lookup formulas)
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate
Ability to consistently deliver accurate and timely financial information with strong audit trail
