Description
We are looking for an experienced Housing Support Administrator for an immediate start ongoing temporary assignment based in Bridgend.

Working within the Housing and Regeneration Team you will support the team in placing people in temporary emergency accommodation; ensuring all records including risk assessments are completed; liaising with service providers; communicating with service usersand dealing with queries and complaints.


Duties will include:

  • Making arrangements for placements to appropriate emergency interim accommodation for service users
  • Liaising with private sector landlords, 3rd sector projects and internal colleagues on a daily basis
  • Organising meetings, to include coordinating calendars, taking and distributing meeting notes and circulating documentation
  • Maintaining and updating computerised systems and electronic filing systems
  • Ensuring service charges for housing projects are paid and issue notice of arrears and warning letters for nonpayment or violation of tenancy licences
  • Ordering equipment for homeless hostels in line with the internal ordering process
  • Previous office administration experience
  • Good working knowledge of MS office to include Word and Excel
  • Excellent written, numerical, and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work on your own initiative ensuring deadlines are achieved
This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
