This role offers an excellent opportunity to be responsible for the mentoring and coaching of litigated Complex credit hire file handlers.

These claims are handled from a tactical and strategic point and vary in value up to £100k.
They will work directly with the business unit director and tactical delivery director. The technical supervisor will be responsible for the supervision, mentoring and coaching of individual credit hire file handlers.

They will be responsible to drive policies and strategies to support the technical progression of file handler and help to achieve technical excellence within the complex credit hire unit.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an incredible team and gain more experience in investigating credit hire claims with a view to successfully repudiating the claims.

Key Accountabilities

Supervise complex credit hire file handlers in accordance with the relevant Competency framework and ensure that accurate technical development records are maintained.
Actively mentor and coach these individuals with a view to extending their technical knowledge and expertise.
Assist with pre audit assessments of all files chosen for external client audits and internal audits for complex credit hire, credit hire validation & MOJ portal as and when needed.
Identify any training requirements and to feedback to the appropriate team leader & tactical delivery director
Undertake all pretrial reviews no later than 6 weeks prior to Trial/Disposal.
Responsibility to develop all new starters to achieve their first financial authority within 6 months of joining Keoghs.
Manage individual file handlers on a performance improvement plan when relating to technical issues.
Consistently achieve against personal targets and objectives, set by the business unit director and tactical delivery director.
Handle a caseload of approximately 1015 multitrack claims with a value exceeding £25k.
To ensure compliance with the SRA Standards & Regulations

Working Hours
35 hours per week worked 9am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays inclusive with 1 hour for lunch.

This is a hybrid role and will be working 1 day in the Bolton office and 4 days from home.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Credit hire experience either defendant (preferable) or claimant.
Previous experience of handling own caseload.
Experience of handling Multi Track work is essential.
Ability to plan and prioritise workloads and remain calm under pressure, whilst complying with deadlines.
Excellent listening and verbal communication skills.
Ability to anticipate problems and identify solutions.
