We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Data and People Analytics Lead at Evotec to join our Global HR team.

This is a fixed term contract starting in May 2024.

HR Data and People Analytics Lead (Fixed Term Contract)


Responsible for providing the business with a comprehensive end-to-end MI and Data Insights service for the employee lifecycle through the extraction, interrogation, and presentation of data from multiple HR Systems and other data sources.

Develop a workstream of business consultation using actionable insights to help inspire change.


Responsibilities:


  • Define Reporting and Analytics priorities and mature the function from report delivery to an insights and data science service.
  • Act as a consultative partner to leaders and HR Business Partners to interpret insights and identify possible actions through analysis of insights surfaced through Workday People Analytics and other reporting, recommending datadriven solutions and strategies for People initiatives.
  • Complete the people analytics communication strategy to share people related insights across the company, leading the organization towards a datadriven and insightled culture.
  • Harness data to measure performance on employee engagement, development, recruitment, retention, work efficiency, compensation matters, and return on investment in talent.
  • Help identify key People metrics and develop benchmarks to measure progress and align People objectives with overall organizational goals.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, standard processes, and emerging technologies in HR analytics and reporting.
  • Project lead and coordinate data deliverables that cross multiple teams.
  • Manages data integrity within Workday, including, audits, and validation. Develop and maintain data governance standards and policies.
  • Communicate complex data and insights in a clear and concise manner to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver strategies with a key focus on automating and streamlining data processes, exploring, and implementing ways to improve processes and increase the value of data gathered.
  • Lead on the creation and provision of consistent and robust HR Management Information to stakeholders both inside and outside of HR. These insights will underpin key business projects, activities and/or audit requirements often bespoke and complex in nature.
Capability, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, data modelling, statistical analysis, forecasts and predictions, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy of results.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with business collaborators to influence, discuss, and explain analytics to nontechnical partners.
  • Experience with Workday, including an understanding of the system data structure and system capabilities as well as hands on experience with Workday Reporting and Advanced Dashboards.
  • Able to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities.
  • Solid project management skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong teammate.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problemsolving environment.
  • Knowledge of human resource practices, techniques, and standards
  • Superior MS Excel (including functions, pivot tables, macros)
  • Experience of working in a global, diverse team in a highly fluid matrix organization
