Job Introduction

This role has a starting salary of £29,844 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week. This is a 12 month secondment / fixed term contract.
The HR Programme Support Team have a vacancy for a Programme Support Assistant. This team sits within our People and Change Service.


We are looking for a team member who can work well with colleagues and customers and is willing to develop themselves to be able to advise others and learn new skills.


The role involves working closely with several teams across People and Change to support with a variety of activities including effective administration, training admin, monitoring a shared inbox and answering queries.

The post holder would also support with the admin of our new benefits system, consisting of uploading information regarding starters and leavers onto the system to ensure that it is kept up to date, approving self-registrations.

You may also have the potential to support with the promotional comms in relation to the benefits.

To be considered for this position your CV and Personal Statement will clearly evidence:

  • Ability to maintain and improve business/database systems
  • Proven IT skills
  • An ability to work with others
  • A passion for customer service
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage and prioritise your own workload
