This is an exciting role that sees the successful individual support in the coordination of the Colorectal MDT meetings. The Colorectal MDTs meeting runs on a weekly basis and includes discussions with tertiary centres.


This role requires the individual to build strong working relationships with clinical teams around the Trust as well as other administrative teams.

There is lots of opportunity to network and bring innovation into the current working processes.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will support audits within the department, helping to gather information and maintain databases. This role requires a person with exceptional attention to detail, and experience of using databases.

The post will involve collecting data from various sources, requiring communication with a large clinical team.

The post requires experience in quality assurance, and an ability to manipulate large datasets in preparation for submission in line with deadlines.


As well as this the role holder will support a number of MDT's within the department to help the team meet local and national cancer targets.

As part of this support you will need to take minuets and ensure appropriate records are maintained. You will also help to produce reports relating to MDT's as required.

Qualifications:

Essential criteria

  • Educated to Alevel or equivalent standard A-C GCSE passes in Maths and English
Experience

  • Previous experience using all functions of Microsoft Excel
  • Efficient organisation of meetings and other appointments within a very broad and dynamic agenda
  • Experience in similar role

Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
