Description

This is a replacement post for retirement and is based upon the firm commitment of the Trust to achieve excellence and quality in the provision of both elective and emergency Orthopaedic surgery, with a particular focus on lower limb arthroplasty and revision and complex hip surgery.

Any candidate, however, who can do revision knee surgery would also be welcome to apply.

It is a full time post, and is based on a 10 PA contract with a number of flexible sessions.

The candidate must be able to undertake routine lower limb arthroplasty work but also have fellowship training in revision arthroplasty surgery and be able to work in a team that provides this complex work some of which is undertaken as dual consultant operating.
