Our multidisciplinary team of 330 architects, masterplanners, town planners, landscape designers, and other specialists deliver nationally significant projects from nine regionally embedded UK studios.

We are now looking to recruit a Bid Coordinator to cover a period of maternity leave, to be based in either our Bath, Bristol or Plymouth Studios.
Working alongside the Head of Bids, you would have a keen interest in joining a creative winning work team in a large design practice.

As a Bid Coordinator you will support the Head of Bids to implement all necessary bid procedures, governance, and processes for one of the largest and most successful independent design practices in the UK.
As a member of the Work Winning team, the role will involve the co-ordination, production, submission, and evaluation of public and private sector bids across our 9 UK studios.
Responsibilities will include:
- Analysing contracts notices on a daily basis and coordinating distribution to the Senior Leadership Team for consideration
- Manage the bid qualification (bid go / no go) process for new opportunities
- Ensure all information, clarifications and correspondence is distributed to the teams
- Manage the bid schedule to ensure timely delivery of compliant bids
- Develop win themes, writing plans, discriminators and advantages
- Manage virtual bid teams and inputs from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from technical experts, business support functions and subconsultants
- Manage commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all services/project stages are included in the final price to the customer
- Contributing to the written proposal both in terms of content and presentation (InDesign)
- Arrange all postbid reviews with customers, postcontract award and support the development of presentations
Essential Skills/ Experience
- InDesign, MS Office
- Administrative and organisational skills
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to be part of a team excellent interpersonal and team working skills
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of Bid Management. APMP Foundation Level would be advantageous
- Experience within architecture or the built environment
- Excellent attention to detail
