Description
We are looking for a part-time Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school on the Wirral. The role is for Mondays and Tuesdays, starting from Monday 27th and continuing up until Easter.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to teachers and students in the classroom, helping to create a positive and effective learning environment


Your duties may include:

  • Working with individual students or small groups to provide additional support and guidance.
  • Assisting with lesson planning and preparation, including setting up resources and materials.
  • Supporting the teacher in delivering lessons, including delivering small group activities and helping with classroom management.
  • Helping to assess students' progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
  • Communicating with parents and carers about students' progress and any concerns that arise.
  • Undertaking administrative tasks, such as recordkeeping and monitoring student attendance.
