- Purpose of roleOur UK non-contentious construction team acts for a wide array of industry participants across the whole of the UK and internationally, including developers, SPV project companies, owners, lenders, contractors and equipment suppliers.
Dentons are working to reinvent the business of law, capitalising on new technologies and talent management approaches to better serve our clients.
Dentons are engaging strategic partners from the technology community to build and bring to market new products that will enable us to work better, smarter and with enhanced value for our clients.
As part of the non-contentious construction team you will have the latest technology at your finger-tips to assist you in your day to day work assisting clients and personal development.
- Responsibilities
- Supporting and leading on a large variety of transactions;
- Building and maintaining existing client relationships;
- Contributing to market knowledge;
- Contributing to business development.
- Required experience, skills and attributes
- Strong academic background;
- Experience of the UK infrastructure and real estate markets preferable but not essential;
- Scottish or English qualified preferable but not essential;
- Experience of Construction Contracts (including main standard forms), consultant appointments, collateral warranties preferable;
- Wider experience of EPC contracts, operational and maintenance agreements, project agreements would be beneficial but not essential;
- Experience in working on projects in one or more of the real estate, energy, transportation and/or PPP sectors preferable not essential;
- Strong team player.
