The Trust currently has two aseptic units - one at the Oxford Road Campus (ORC) and one at Wythenshawe Hospital.

Units provide cytotoxic chemotherapy, parenteral nutrition and CIVAs (including monoclonal antibodies).


looking to recruit a Quality Systems Officer for Aseptic services, based at Wythenshawe Hospital but will also be expected to work cross site at Oxford Road Campus (ORC).

To ensure that the MFT Aseptic Service produces high quality products in line with all relevant standards and procedures, minimising risk to patients and healthcare professionals.


The applicant must be a highly motivated individual with experience in management quality systems, Aseptic preparation, and good manufacturing practice.

To maximise the effectiveness and influence of the Pharmaceutical Quality System in all preparation areas within MFT.

This is to ensure that high risk parenteral medicines are compounded and delivered in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
