Your future employer seeks an enthusiastic Software Developer with a passion for delivering top quality products and solutions, with a time-efficient and can-do approach.

In securing this opportunity, you'd become part of a small and agile team who will reportdirectly to the IT Director, working on the development of new projects and products using a technical stack different to others in the business.

Commercial experience of working with Node and Javascript would be beneficial, though experience not requiredwith all skills, as training can be provided.

We believe that some of the key duties for which you'd be responsible when working as a Software Developer here would be:
*to contribute to the development of specifications for both new and replacement systems.
*learning existing systems and work towards locating and resolving issues.
*peer-review colleagues' code, as and when required.
*assisting with new project and product development.
*provide product and process improvement feedback and suggestions.
*work cooperatively as part of a team, within their architectural, operational, technical and business frameworks.
To be successful in this exciting new opportunity as a Software Developer, we anticipate that you'll have some of the following skills and experience:
*have a proven Software Development track record covering the full lifecycle.
*have strong experience of working with Node, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, MSSQL or MySQL and XML.
*have excellent experience of working on Web Applications.
*have experience of having worked with Microservices in a hosted environment.
*be able to use Version Control Systems, such as Git & Subversion.
*have familiarity with Agile development processes, including tools such as Azure DevOps or similar.
*have integrity, adaptability, enthusiasm and take ownership of tasks.
*be a customer-focused, collaborative team player have a genuine love and passion for IT.
Any of the following could also prove useful when joining the team:
*have experience within other development environments such as C# or ASP.NET.
*have experience of Azure, or a similar Cloud platforms such as AWS.
*have a degree in a Computing / Technical discipline, or commensurate technical experience.
*have some experience or knowledge of Financial Services.
