Data Scientist - Insurance
This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career within the EMEA region of a global London Market Insurer.

You will be developing and delivering advanced Machine Learning and optimisation techniques to improve business solutions, executing all aspects of analytics initiatives.

Data Scientist functions will include:

Exploratory data analysis, machine learning model development, model evaluation and benefit estimation
Developing queries to extract modelling data from warehouse, creative data exploration and feature engineering
Using and developing algorithms to deliver new optimisations and tests
Build, enhance and assemble machine learning and statistical models to predict lossses and customer behaviour
Be integral in improving Insurance pricing models to drive sales

Skills Required:

Data Science experience, analytical and modelling
Python / R programming
Hands on experience with building and developing GLMs and machine learning models
Version control, automation tools and ML OPS based deployment
Customer focused in order to spot profit opportunities
Creativity to master and combine machine learning and statistical approaches
Insurance or Actuarial domain knowledge would be advantageous
