National Sales Manager

70k basic + 20k bonus + car and benefits package

The Role:

To lead, manage, coach and develop a team of Regional Account Managers, so that the Field Sales Division successfully achieves it sales, margin and other key targets to support the Sales Director in the achievement of the company's goals and initiativesthrough:

  • Own and achieve key targets & KPIs for the Field Sales Team
  • Develop a plan with each RAM for their customer base, then monitor & support their activity against this
  • Coach, mentor and develop the team to achieve their goals
  • Analyse sales data & performance against key metrics, to improve results
  • Support customer engagement to win over key new prospects and projects
  • Review customer allocation to ensure sales resource is deployed effectively
  • Build and maintain strong, long lasting relationships with key vendors & partners, both personally and across the team
  • Recruit and onboard new team members as required
  • Display rolemodel behaviours to the team around standards, performance, behaviour and activity
  • Work with the Senior Management Team to help grow the business over its midterm plan, and deliver profit share goals
  • Understand, embody and communicate the value of doing business with our company

Key Skills Required

  • Previous experience, and proven success, in leading and managing sales teams in a target rich environment
  • Driven and determined to succeed

  • Ability to take responsibility and make quick decisions
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills
