RG Consultancy are delighted to be working with a leading global manufacturer who are looking to add an Assistant Accountant to their UK Finance Team based in the Altrincham office.

In this newly created role you will be reporting to the UK Finance Manager and be responsible for assisting with the accounts for the UK based companies in the group.

Responsibilities include assisting the Finance Manager with:

Preparation of management accounts
Budgeting and forecasting support
Financial audit support
Annual tax returns and statutory accounts preparation
Authorising expenses
Accounts payable and receivable reconciliations
Month end journal postings
Balance sheet reconciliations
Accruals and prepayments

This role is great for a part-qualified accountant or someone who is studying CIMA/ACCA and is looking to progress their career with the plan to becoming fully qualified.

There is scope for progression into larger roles in the wider group and they offerstudy support with a keen interest in developing their people.

They offer a competitive salary with additional bonus, hybrid working (3 days in the office), 25 days holiday plus bank, free on-site parking, study support and an early finish on Fridays.
