What the job is about?

The Administrator assists a team of Support Workers, the Activity Co-ordinator, and Hub Manager to deliver services within an Activity Hub.

These services are delivered as part of a programme designed to helpoffenderslead law abiding lives and access mainstreamactivity.

Your main responsibilities would be:


  • Meeting and greeting participants, delivery partners and visitors to the Activity Hub
  • Helping to manage attendance at the Hub, ensuring only authorised people have access to the Hub.
  • Registering all participants, delivery partners and visitors on arrival and issuing passes.
  • Supporting potential participants who arrive at the Hub without an appointment by checking eligibility and booking an appointment.
  • Taking internal and external phone calls and transferring them to the most appropriate colleague.
  • Observing interactions in the Hub and dealing with, or reporting, issues or concerns.
  • Supporting the Activity Coordinator in the setting up of activities.
  • Managing Hub supplies, facilities, and equipment (e.g. stationery and printers), ordering supplies and equipment as required.

Required skills & experience:


  • Experience of working effectively within an office based customer service or sales environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering high quality customer service
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, target orientated environment.
  • Experience of using database systems to input data accurately (Excel spreadsheet)
  • Strong verbal communication skills and good influencing skills.
  • Ability to follow processes
  • Attentive to detail, ensuring all relevant data is captured accurately.
