We are looking for a Procurement Category Lead Marketing to join our team.

You'll be responsible for acting as the procurement POC to manage the end-to-end procurement process and cultivate strong stakeholder partnerships around the related Marketing categories, whilst executing the regional buying strategies of "Sourcing to Contract "for the dedicated category areas, to ensure the effective and quality general procurement service in support of business speed-to-market.

Allwyn has been selected by the Gambling Commission as the Preferred Applicant to be the operator of the National Lottery for the Fourth Licence, starting on 1 February 2024.

We have an ambitious vision for the UK's National Lottery.

You'll be responsible for:


  • Sourcing third parties who can meet the requirements, and conducting initial research to create a short list
  • Establishing and ensuring sustainable procurement best practice and guidance across the procurement process, policies and team, in line with Allwyn's Social Value framework and commitments
  • Running the RFP process, coordinating supplier pitches, with the right internal stakeholders
  • Following process outlines by procurement and supply procurement team with the relevant data and detail to meet internal governance requirements
  • Working cross functionally ensuring all relevant stakeholders feed in requirements and are part of the selection
  • Working to award and appoint new suppliers
  • Supporting the Social Value team in maintaining a positive and collaborative culture across the wider team
  • Contracting negotiations and drafting of commercial terms alongside Legal

What we are looking for:


  • Qualified experience in related area: Facilities Management, Business Operations, Retail Operations, Product, Supply Chain
  • Understanding of sustainable procurement best practices and how to embed this into the sourcing process and acting as the strategic lead in sustainability within the expertise
  • Experience of drafting, negotiating, and managing supplier agreements within FM, Operations, Retail categories
  • Excellent relationship management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with senior management
  • Experience in sourcing and procurement processes and tools, e.g. Ariba/SAP, Coupa (preferred, not essential)
