An exciting opportunity has arisen, for a
Marketing and Communications Manager to perform as an integral part of the marketing team within a successful College group based predominantly in
Redhill.


The purpose of this role is to drive forward the colleges' brand presence within the region and to support the Head of Marketing to deliver online and offline marketing messaging and event planning.

The post-holder will have a proven track record in motivatingand leading an effective team.


Salary:
£45,000 - £50,000


Location:
Redhill with some travel to the South Croydon site

You will proofread and quality control all Marketing communication items, to ensure a high-quality consistent brand message at every touchpoint.

Managing the website content across all College websites, coordinating website copy and visual identity usingthe Group Content Management Systems.


You will lead on preparing the Colleges' creative annual campaign calendars, as well as planning, executing, and analyzing campaigns across all channels.


  • Input into the creation and delivery of the Colleges Marketing Strategy
  • Management of key marketing personnel, across the various College sites. Including target setting, training, performance management and monitoring personal development
  • Ownership of the Colleges brand identity. Setting the creative direction for the brand and disseminating messages to ensure consistent rollout across the Group
  • Prepare the Colleges' creative annual campaign calendar. Plan, formulate, execute and analyse campaigns across all channels
  • Produce campaigns to raise the profile of the Colleges
  • Evaluate and optimise the Colleges' search engine positions to drive exposure
  • Lead on documents required for key events, write news copy and select imagery for publication across multiple channels
  • Manage the College image release permissions libraries for design work in order to ensure that the appropriate permissions are received prior to use in any publication; and that tracking processes are in place in accordance with GDPR regulations
  • Coordinate the team to set up and attend external events in support of the College events calendar
  • Leading the Communications and Design Team, expand the reach of, and bring together, the existing College Alumni communication channels

Do you have the skills & experience required?

  • Degree or equivalent qualification (ideally in a Design, Marketing or Businessrelated discipline)
  • Marketing qualification (e.g. CIM or similar) is desirable
  • Maths & English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent
  • Equality & Diversity Level 2 (or willing to obtain)
  • Safeguarding Children & Vulnerable Adults Level 2 (or willing to obtain)
  • Proven ability to lead and advise on all marketing strategies
  • Proven ability to provide effective leadership, staff development and management of change
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the ability to relate effectively with students, staff, management and clients at every level
  • Microsoft Office suite advanced level proven experience
  • An understanding design skill using Adobe Creative Cloud packages in particular Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience of Corporate brand identity and setting the creative direction for the brand
  • Experience of working within a supervisory position in a similar marketing environment
  • Experience in monitoring and analysing Marketing and Communications activities
  • Experience in delivering the full range of Marketing and Communications activities
