As the Quality Improvement Facilitator, working as part of the newly developed Faculty of Learning, Leadership and Improvement, you will play a key part in supporting the delivery of the Trust's Quality Improvement Strategy.
Whether it's guiding our emerging leaders through their own Quality Improvement journey or triangulating patient safety, outcomes and feedback data to inform improvement work, you will play a key part in ensuring that our services remain fit for purpose and future proof.
We are seeking someone with drive and passion for Quality Improvement who can coach, mentor and act as a critical friend.
Organised and methodical, you will be responsible for arranging and co-ordinating events related to QI and maintaining key Trust databases of QI data.

The Quality Improvement (QI) Facilitator will report in to the People Development Lead from a line management perspective, but will equally take direction from the QI Clinical leads in terms of their engagement with the Faculty of Learning, Leadership and Improvement.
To be a key member of the Faculty of Learning, Leadership and Improvement.
To take responsibility for all aspects of the co-ordination of the NTH100 Programme including providing professional advice on recognised QI methodologies, outputs and measures of success.
To give professional advice and guidance to colleagues leading and participating in QI projects and initiatives in all areas of the Trust.
To provide guidance and mentoring and training to colleagues who are engaged in the Trust QI development programmes at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels.
To be an administrator, super user and trainer for Life QI
Ensure that QI projects are captured and updated on the Life QI Platform.
Act as a critical friend and professional expert on QI matters at Faculty and Trust wide meetings and committees as identified by the Faculty Clinical Leads or the line manager.

Produce reports and papers for Trust meetings and committees.
To deliver training in formal QI methods to colleagues, patients and external learners.
Liaise with the PMIO team where project management support or guidance is required.
Support the QI Clinical Leads and the Faculty of Learning, Leadership and Improvement to embed a culture of continuous improvement.

The post holder will be expected to offer expert advice on the selection of improvement methodologies based on outline project data and descriptions.
They will be required to offer professional guidance and supervision for the full lifecycle of a QI initiative ensuring that projects are SMART in nature, data driven and fit for purpose.
