Family Intervention Worker:

We currently have two vacancies for a Family Intervention Worker.


An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Intervention Hub for a Family Intervention Worker based at Civic Way, Ellesmere Port.

The Intervention Hub offers a locality wide support and intervention service to children known to Children's Social Care and requiring the support of Child in Need, Child Protection or Looked After Child planning.

You will be expected to travel across the borough between the Ellesmere Port/Neston, Chester and Northwich/Winsford districts within this role.

The role of Family Intervention Worker will require you to provide a high-quality family intervention service to families open to Children's Social Care and deliver relevant interventions in order to ensure that immediate needs are met whilst also aiming to effect long-term positive change to improve the welfare and life experiences of children, young people, and their families.
