About the Role

Our operation runs around the clock, 7 days a week, with a wide variety of shift patterns. If you're seeking flexibility to balance work with your lifestyle, you've come to the right place. Late and weekend shifts are part of the job, and we may need to adjust your schedule.

Our stores stock a diverse range of products, from clothing and household items to groceries. Our warehouse teams play a key role in ensuring these products reach the shelves on time. They pick and organize the products to ensure timely delivery to our stores, making our supply chain efficient and dynamic.

It's a crucial aspect of our operations, offering fast-paced, engaging, and diverse work.

In addition to completing a L2 warehouse operative apprenticeship, your responsibilities will include:
- Replenishing stock of various sizes and shapes in the warehouse
- Selecting stock by store or product type and preparing deliveries for stores
- Operating all equipment (rest assured, we'll provide thorough training on safe and effective usage).

If you're interested in kickstarting a career in logistics by undertaking a level 2 apprenticeship while working, this role could be perfect for you. You'll receive support from our apprenticeship provider, Babcock, and your line manager throughout the 12-month L2 warehouse operative apprenticeship journey.

Please be aware that passing functional Maths and English skills assessments is required, unless exempt due to prior qualification.

About You

You should be naturally approachable and eager to collaborate with your team to achieve excellent outcomes. A willingness to learn new skills is essential. You'll uphold high standards, working with precision and efficiency.

You understand the importance of delivering goods 'on time in full' to stores, ensuring they have the right stock when needed, thus ensuring availability for our customers.

Commitment to the 12-month L2 warehouse operative apprenticeship is necessary.
