This is an entry level role into the clinical team, so you'll need to have relative experience in healthcare either as a support worker, through your studies in gaining a Biomedical/Biology degree, patient facing roles and/or laboratory assistance.
The focus of this role is to:
- To prioritise patient safety by ensuring adherence to ICH-GCP
- To carry out clinical trial procedures in accordance with ICH-GCP
KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- BSc in scientific field (desirable)
- Previous experience in healthcare support role
- Previous experience with venepuncture and/or sample handling and storage
- Previous patient facing role
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clinical activities
- Patient and customer care
- Laboratory duties
- Pharmacy dispensing, logs and storage
- Data management
- Commercial awareness
- Professional and self development
- SOP, Policy, Health & Safety, legislation and guideline compliance
PHYSICAL, WORK ENVIRONMENT, TRAVEL DEMANDS:
- Potentially long periods standing.
- Dealing with bodily fluids.
- Long periods looking at a computer screen.
- Meeting deadlines and working within
- Ability to travel between sites if required.
- Ability to travel to national/international meetings.
