Description

Packaging Supervisor / Warehouse Supervisor - Design and creative production, predominantly in the luxury retail sector.

Role:

As the Packing Supervisor you will need to oversee the packing area and help the packing operatives out if they have any problems.

You will be working closely with the production managers for each project that comes through.

Making sure you have orderedspecific packaging for their jobs and that your general stock level is also up to date.

This is a very diverse role that needs a hands-on and organised approach and will cover aspects such as the packing/collating of the luxury graphics, Goods-in, supportingthe logistics supervisor with Storage and support with the dispatching of parcels when needed.

Packaging of all graphics and units
To make sure all jobs for the day have been completed and packed before finishing.
To keep bringing new packing methods and ideas to the department
Stock ordering
Keeping up to date with the newest environmentally friendly packaging ideas
Loading and unloading of vans
Ensure production floor, storage unit and the yard are kept tidy.
To assist all other departments with their jobs.
To get jobs ready for the drivers

Requirements:

Experience working within a busy warehouse / production environment is
essential:

Forklifting licence

Essential
Packaging of goods.
Good Microsoft skills
Dispatching of parcels
Good eye for detail
Full UK Driving licence
Great Organisation
Be able to maintain excellent relationships with colleagues
