This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established international development team.

You will be tasked with creating and supporting sites within the Business Group as well as creating new and exciting websites for a broad spectrum of clients.

£35,000 to £45,000

Your responsibilities:


  • Working alongside our marketing team, you will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of our current brand websites as well as building/migrating new sites as we continue to grow.
  • Identify and suggest upon key areas of improvement throughout the systems
  • Lead and support development of existing and new WordPress projects
  • Stay current with industry best practices to implement technical optimisations related to site performance, SEO, compliance and UI/UX.

Your expertise:


  • At least 3 years' commercial experience
  • Experience with WordPress and leading plugins
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML5/CSS/JavaScript standards including concepts like layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility
  • Experience with building responsive, mobile friendly websites using CSS Frameworks such as Tailwind
  • Experience with objectoriented programming such as PHP
  • Experience working with databases such as MySQL, or SQL Server
  • Ability to take designs from concept to completion
  • Ability to work independently in troubleshooting issues
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A keen eye for and attention to detail
  • Analytical mind and problemsolving aptitude
  • Strong organisational skills

Desirable:


  • Experience with

Google Web Tools:
Analytics, Search Console, and Tag Manager

  • Experience with
Magento, Shopify, or other E-Commerce systems

  • Experience with
custom WordPress plugin development

  • Ability to translate client and stakeholder requirements into technical specifications
  • Experience of managing a small team and software development lifecycle
  • Understanding of best modern security practices.
  • Worked in or have knowledge of the Recruitment / Finance / Payroll / Accounting sector
